Peaceoda Teacher (Instructor) Rules

1. Purpose

These Teacher (Instructor) Rules (“Teacher Rules”) define the standards, responsibilities, and obligations of all educators, instructors, mentors, and content creators (“Teachers”) who publish or deliver educational content on Peaceoda.

By applying to become or acting as a Teacher on Peaceoda, you agree to comply with these Rules in addition to Peaceoda’s Platform Rules and Policies.

2. Teacher Eligibility and Approval

2.1 Eligibility Requirements

Teachers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Possess appropriate knowledge, skills, qualifications, or professional experience in the subject taught
  • Provide truthful and verifiable information during registration

2.2 Approval Process

  • All Teachers are subject to review and approval by Peaceoda
  • Peaceoda reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove Teachers at its sole discretion
  • Approval does not guarantee continued access to teach on the Platform

3. Course Creation and Quality Standards

3.1 Content Quality

Teachers must ensure that all courses:

  • Are original, accurate, and educationally meaningful
  • Follow Peaceoda’s content structure and quality guidelines
  • Use clear audio, video, and instructional materials where applicable
  • Deliver learning outcomes consistent with course descriptions

3.2 Accuracy and Updates

  • Teachers are responsible for keeping course content reasonably up to date
  • Outdated or misleading content may be required to be revised or removed

4. Prohibited Content and Activities

Teachers must not create, upload, or promote content that:

  • Infringes intellectual property or third-party rights
  • Contains hate speech, discrimination, violence, or extremist material
  • Promotes illegal activities, fraud, or harmful behavior
  • Includes spam, deceptive marketing, or unrelated advertising
  • Makes false claims about income, employment, certification, or results

5. Teacher Conduct and Professional Ethics

Teachers must:

  • Treat learners and Peaceoda staff with respect and professionalism
  • Avoid harassment, intimidation, exploitation, or abusive behavior
  • Communicate honestly and responsibly with learners
  • Refrain from manipulating learners into off-platform payments or services

6. Learner Interaction and Support

  • Teachers should provide reasonable academic support through platform-approved channels
  • Feedback and responses should be constructive and appropriate
  • Teachers must not request personal, financial, or sensitive information from learners

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

  • Teachers retain ownership of their original course content

7.2 License to Peaceoda

By publishing content on Peaceoda, Teachers grant Peaceoda a:

  • Non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license
  • Right to host, distribute, display, market, and promote the content on the Platform

8. Payments, Revenue, and No-Refund Model

  • Teacher earnings, if applicable, are subject to Peaceoda’s revenue-sharing model
  • Peaceoda operates under a strict no-refund policy
  • Teachers acknowledge that sales are final and non-refundable
  • Chargebacks, disputes, or fraud may result in delayed or withheld payouts

9. Marketing and Promotion

  • Peaceoda may promote Teacher courses for platform growth
  • Teachers may market their courses externally, provided claims are accurate and compliant
  • Use of Peaceoda branding must follow brand guidelines

10. Compliance and Monitoring

  • Peaceoda may review courses, communications, and activities for compliance
  • Teachers must cooperate with audits, reviews, or content moderation requests

11. Suspension and Termination

Peaceoda may suspend or permanently remove a Teacher for:

  • Violation of these Teacher Rules or Platform Policies
  • Repeated learner complaints
  • Low-quality or misleading content
  • Legal or regulatory risks

Termination may occur without notice and without compensation for removed content.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Teachers act as independent content providers, not employees or agents of Peaceoda
  • Peaceoda is not responsible for Teacher representations made outside the Platform

13. Governing Law

These Teacher Rules are governed by the laws applicable to Peaceoda’s operating jurisdiction.

14. Amendments

  • Peaceoda may update these Teacher Rules at any time
  • Continued participation as a Teacher constitutes acceptance of updated Rules

By requesting to become an Instructor on Peaceoda, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Teacher (Instructor) Rules, as well as all applicable Peaceoda policies.
