1. Introduction

Welcome to Peaceoda, a next-generation digital education and community platform designed to empower students, educators, and communities through structured learning, collaboration, performance tracking, and incentive-based rewards. Peaceoda integrates professional educational content, interactive communities, attendance monitoring, certification systems, and its proprietary virtual reward currency, Mahcoin.

This document constitutes the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Children’s Privacy Notice (collectively, the “Agreement”). It governs all access to and use of Peaceoda’s website, mobile applications, services, features, content, rewards systems, certifications, affiliate programs, and related technologies (the “Platform”).

By accessing, registering, or using Peaceoda, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, enrolling in courses, earning or using Mahcoin, participating in communities, or otherwise using the Platform, you accept these Terms in full.

Peaceoda reserves the right to amend or update this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users are responsible for reviewing this Agreement regularly.

3. Platform Services Overview

Peaceoda provides the following services:

Structured online courses for students at beginner, intermediate, and professional levels
Teacher-led instructional programs and educational content management
Community groups and moderated learning discussions
Attendance tracking, engagement monitoring, and performance evaluation
Mahcoin virtual reward system
Affiliate and promotional programs
Skill-based Peaceoda certifications

Peaceoda blends educational best practices with modern technology and incentive-driven engagement models.

4. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To access most Platform features, users must create an account.

You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
Safeguard your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account
Notify Peaceoda immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

Account misuse, impersonation, fraud, or manipulation of systems is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent termination.

5. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Students

Must be at least 13 years old, or
Use the Platform under verified parental or legal guardian consent

Teachers

Must meet Peaceoda’s qualification, verification, and professional conduct standards

Rewards & Affiliates

Participation in Mahcoin, affiliate programs, or promotions may require additional verification and eligibility checks

Peaceoda reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny access or revoke rewards if requirements are not met.

6. Courses & Educational Content

Teachers retain ownership of their original content
Teachers grant Peaceoda a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, distribute, and promote content on the Platform
Students receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content solely for personal learning

Content may not be copied, recorded, redistributed, resold, or shared outside Peaceoda without explicit written permission.

7. Payments, Pricing & Subscriptions

Paid and free courses are available
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
Subscription services may auto-renew unless canceled
Refunds are subject to Peaceoda’s Refund Policy
Prices are displayed in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) unless stated otherwise

Peaceoda is not responsible for errors or delays caused by third-party payment providers.

8. Mahcoin Virtual Currency Policy

Mahcoin is a platform-exclusive virtual reward currency with no guaranteed real-world monetary value.

Earning Mahcoin

Teachers earn Mahcoin through verified attendance, engagement, teaching performance, promotions, and affiliate activities
Students may earn Mahcoin only through approved promotional or affiliate campaigns

Using & Converting Mahcoin

Mahcoin may be used within the Platform for approved activities
Conversion to ETB is limited to verified teachers and affiliates
Conversion rates are set by Peaceoda and may change at any time

Mahcoin is non-transferable outside Peaceoda and may be forfeited if misuse or fraud is detected.

9. Teacher Incentives & Affiliate Programs

Teachers may earn Mahcoin and commissions for:

Attendance and engagement performance
Completing and delivering high-quality courses
Referring paid students
Promoting Peaceoda through approved channels

Annual Mahcoin conversion limits may apply (e.g., up to 50,000 ETB per year).

Affiliates earn Mahcoin for verified referrals resulting in paid enrolments.

10. Certification & Verification

Peaceoda certificates:

Are performance-based and skill-verified
Cannot be purchased, sold, or transferred
Reflect genuine learning outcomes
Are not foreign or government-issued certificates

Misrepresentation of certification is prohibited.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All Peaceoda branding, software, logos, icons, graphics, systems, and platform architecture are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

12. Privacy Policy (UK GDPR Compliant)

Peaceoda collects and processes personal data for:

Account creation and management
Course delivery and communication
Attendance, engagement, and Mahcoin tracking
Certification and verification
Platform improvement and security

Peaceoda does not sell personal data.

Data is processed in accordance with:

UK GDPR
Data Protection Act 2018

Users have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of their data where legally permitted.

Parental or guardian consent may be required for account creation
Parents may request access, correction, or deletion of a child’s data

Peaceoda does not knowingly collect personal data from children without obtaining their appropriate authorisation.

15. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Hack, disrupt, or interfere with Platform systems
Use bots, scraping tools, or automation without approval
Impersonate others or misrepresent identity
Attempt to manipulate Mahcoin or rewards

Violations may result in suspension, termination, forfeiture of rewards, and legal action.

16. Limitation of Liability

Peaceoda is provided “as-is” and “as-available.”
Peaceoda does not guarantee learning outcomes, earnings, or Mahcoin value stability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peaceoda is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

17. Suspension & Termination

Peaceoda may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.
Users may voluntarily close accounts, but unused Mahcoin and progress may be forfeited.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
Peaceful resolution is encouraged prior to formal proceedings.

19. Legal Review & Compliance Notice

This Agreement has been prepared to align with UK legal standards and industry best practices. As Peaceoda grows, expands internationally, or processes higher volumes of user data and financial transactions, formal review by a UK-licensed solicitor is recommended to ensure continued compliance with evolving regulations.

20. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Peaceoda and its users.
